Welcome to amabel-sauble community school

Welcome to Amabel-Sauble Community School.  We are a JK to grade 8 school, located in beautiful Sauble Beach.  Amabel-Sauble is truly a community school, and we value partnering with our parents and community to provide a "village" to care for our students.

In demonstrating our commitment to equity and inclusive education in a safe and accepting school environment, we ask schools to embrace diversity and show support by raising the Progress Pride Flag during the month of June. 

The Progress Pride Flag is a variation of the rainbow flag that includes additional stripes to represent marginalized communities. The white, pink, and light blue chevron design reflects the colors of the Transgender Flag, while the brown and black stripes represent marginalized people of color. The black stripe has a dual meaning: It also honors those lost to HIV/AIDS and is a nod to the stigma surrounding those still living with HIV. The Progress Pride Flag was designed by Daniel Quasar, a queer, non-binary demisexual designer in Oregon.
